How to Use the Classifieds  Back to Top
Searching the Classifieds - searching the classifieds was built with you in mind. After you select the search option, you will be presented with multiple options. You are allowed to search by just text for all categories; however, once you select a category to search by, many other fields to search by will appear.

Ad Notification Tool - this feature allows you to search the classifieds without being at the keyboard. Once you fill out the title, select a category, and enter keywords, the rest will be done for you. Anytime someone enters in an advertisement that matches your keywords, you will be sent an E-mail. However, to use this tool you must be a registered member.

New Listings Option - this sort allows a user to quickly view the most recently posted advertisements in the classifieds section.

Top Listings Option - this option displays to the user all of the ads in the classifieds in order of the number of times they have been viewed. The ads that have been viewed the most are displayed first.
Finding the Appropriate Category  Back to Top
When placing an ad on our classifieds, the first step you have to do is select a category for your ad. We have several categories on our classifieds that have an option of placing a free ad. Also, if you have an issue finding the proper category to place your ad, feel free to contact the administrators of this web page and we can help you find the right place.
Listing Options  Back to Top
Bold Listing - this is one of three options available to a user posting an ad. This option does as it sounds: it places the text in your ad in bold, helping it stand out more to the user.

Highlighted Listing - this is the second of three options available to users when posting an ad. This option changes the background of your ad to be a different color then the other ads, giving it a highlighted look. This helps your ad stand out among the other ads by making it easier to see.

Featured Listing - this is the third option available to a user posting an ad on our classifieds. This option allows your ad the possibility of being displayed on the main page. Also, your ads will be displayed before other listings in their respective categories.
Selecting the Proper Package  Back to Top
Basic Package - these tend to be the cheapest way to post an ad on our classifieds section. They include varying amounts of text to place in the ad and do not include pictures. However, you still are able to make your ad bold, highlighted, or featured with these packages.

Package with Pictures - this is the second level of our advertising packages. Depending on the package, the number of pictures you are allowed will change. The pictures in these ads will be displayed both when a user is viewing your ad and when a user is searching for your ad. You may also chose to make your ad bold, highlighted, or featured with all of these packages.

Package with Video - these tend to be the highest tier of our advertising packages. These ads allow you to post a video with your ad. These packages are not always offered in every category, but if chosen, your ad will be displayed with notification that there is video included in your ad. Then once a user chooses to view your ad they will be able to view your video without even having to download it to their machine.
Adding Multimedia to Your Ad  Back to Top
Adding Pictures to My Ad - adding pictures to your ad has never been easier. Our software allows you to submit either GIF or JPEG pictures, with extensions of .gif, .jpg, or .jpeg. Pictures may be any height and width. After you upload your image, it will be automatically sized to fit in your ad. Your image may not be any larger then 5MB to upload.

Adding Video to My Ad - if you are having trouble getting your video from your camcorder, click here. After you have your video on your computer, you just have to make sure that you have it saved in either .avi or .wmv extension. Next, make sure that it is under 10MB in size and you are all set to upload.
